Ewing senior Sidney Stallbaum will continue her volleyball career as a member of the Midland University team. Ballots for the Summerland building bond project are due to the respective county clerk's office, by 5 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12. Summerland Volleyball Coach Suz Funk made history Saturday. When the Bobcats last kill landed on the West Holt floor, Funk picked up career win number 300. The 2019 season marks Funk's 16th year as a head coach, with 15 of those at the helm of the Ewing Tigers. The Orchard Public School Advisory Board of Education faced a short agenda when they met last Wednesday at the high school. Board members heard from Principal Cathy Cooper that enrollment numbers used for football classification, as of last Wednesday, sat at 47, the maximum allowed for eight-man participation, in order to qualify for state playoffs.
