    A Wednesday evening accident on the east edge of Neligh resulted in the death of Steven Binkerd, a Holt County sheriff's deputy. Binkerd's 2012 GMC Sierra pickup slid off the highway around 10:15, Feb. 12, a half-mile east of Neligh, according to the Antelope County Sheriff's Office.     Greg Sharpe, the voice of Husker Radio, died Friday, from pancreatic cancer, at age 61. The recent 2024 Nebraska Sportscaster of the Year recipient wass diagnosed with cancer in 2024.
