Holt County dies in Lincoln treatment center

A 60-year-old O'Neill man died Feb. 6 at the Nebraska Reception and Treatment Center in Lincoln.

Jerry Yelli was sentenced to the facility on Nov. 19, 2018, and was serving a sentence of nine to 17 years and one month for convictions in Holt and Madison counties. Charges included possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, driving under a revoked license and terroristic threats.

According to state records, he was scheduled for a parole hearing this month.
