The Bobcat boys wrestlers brought home five medals and placed seventh at Saturday's Battle Creek Invite. Ethan Kester finished second in the 150 division. Summerland students Auryana Hernandez and Asher Whiting competed in Saturday's Peru State Powerlifting Meet. Whiting won third place in the 275-plus weight class with a 1,150 pound total. He set Summerland records with a 495-pound deadlift and 1,150 lb total. Hernandez won first place in the 198-pound class with an 810 pound total. The Bobcat boys basketball team held off a fourth-quarter surge, Friday, to down Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, 55-54, on the Bears’ home court.
