Valentine handles Lady Cats

Summerland traveled to Valentine, Saturday, for a non-conference match-up with the Badgers and couldn’t contain Paige Sprenger, who led all scorers with 33 points.

Her performance gave Valentine a 71-45 win.

Caydence Schumacher scored 16 for the Bobcats. Belle Anson added nine and Kanyon Allemang and Jenna Funk each finished with eight.

Allemang ended with eight rebounds, all on the defensive boars. Belle Anson stole the ball six times.

The Bobcats will host O’Neill, Thursday, in a 6 p.m. varsity contest. Junior varsity girls’ play will begin at 5.
