After trailing Ainsworth by six at the end of the first quarter, the Bobcat girls basketball squad chipped away at the deficit and secured a 53-47 win in the opening round of the Summerland Holiday Tournament on Monday.
The difference came in the final quarter, when Summerland applied tough defense and held the visiting Bulldogs to six points.
