Lady Cats defeat Creighton, fall to St. Mary's

The Lady Bobcats defeated Creighton, 53-42, in a home contest played Jan. 13.

Coach Jackson Medina said his team did a lot well in terms of scoring and playing team basketball.

"We followed that up with a disappointing effort against St. Mary's which ended in a loss. All of the girls as well as myself viewed this as a missed opportunity. Credit to St. Mary's as they were able to capitalize against us on this night."

The Cardinals slipped past the bobcats, 36-32, in the Jan. 15 game played on the Bobcats home court....
