German, 20, of Inman appeared before the Honorable Mark Kozisek in the Holt County district court last Monday, Feb. 22, for sentencing on one count, theft by unlawful taking, a Class 1 misdemeanor committed in October 2019. Kozisek sentenced German to a 24-month term of probation, including related fees totaling $630, and restitution of $4,000 to the victim of the crime. He was taxed $147 cost of prosecution as well.
