Niobrara Valley Conference basketball tournament play tips off this weekend.
The Summerland boys' team enters as the 10th seed and will face Elkhorn Valley, Saturday, Jan. 30, at 6 p.m., at St. Mary's in O'Neill.
Saturday games start with a matchup between West Holt and North Central, slated for 2 p.m., at SMH.
At 3:30, Santee will face Boyd County on the Spartans' home court.
A 6:30 p.m. game will feature Niobrara-Verdigre versus Chambers/Wheeler Central. They will meet at Boyd County.
A Summerland victory will propel the team to a Monday matchup against the second-seeded Stuart Broncos. T...
