    Summerland Bobcats will face Santee in the opening round of the Niobrara Valley Conference volleyball tournament. The Bobcats will play Monday, Oct. 16, at 6:15 p.m., at Elgin Public School. The Bobcats enter as the sixth seed. The winner of that contest will meet Elgin Public/Pope John, at 7:30 p.m. Semifinal games are slated for play at Boyd County, Tuesday, Oct. 17.
