A Bartlett man escaped a single-vehicle accident without severe injury, Thursday, south of Ewing. Mark Simons was driving south on 508 Avenue, approximately two miles south of Ewing, when he served to avoid collision with a deer. Simons overcorrected and lost control of the 2019 Chevrolet Impala he was driving and rolled one and one-half times before the vehicle came to rest on its top. Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested an Arizona man after locating 33 pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Hamilton County.
