The Summerland football team finished its 2025 campaign with a 6-3 record, finishing second in the D1-4 district. Coach Tom Thramer called the season a success. "Especially after taking an ugly loss early to a very good Crofton team," he said. Ryan Rifer will make his second appearance in the 2025 NSAA Track and Field Championships this weekend. Rifer took first place in the Class C4 district high jump, held May 15, at Battle Creek.
