Bobcats finish seventh overall
Arch enemy • Ryan Rifer leaps over the high jump bar. He cleared 6' 1 inch, en route to the gold medal in the Class C-4 District Track and Field Meet, May 15, in Battle Creek. Rifer, along with Lydia Robertson, will represent the Bobcats at the state meet, which begins Friday for Class C at Omaha Burke Stadium.
Ryan Rifer will make his second appearance in the 2025 NSAA Track and Field Championships this weekend.
Rifer took first place in the Class C4 district high jump, held May 15, at Battle Creek.
The Bobcats finished seventh in the boys division, scoring 26 points. West Holt claimed the team title, tallying 142 points.
Rifer's teammate, Ruger Switzer, ended fourth in high jump after he cleared 5' 11 inches.
Alec Schindler received the fourth-place medal in the 300m hurdles. He finished in 43.91.
Parker Napier brought home two district medals, including fifth place in long jump, reaching 18' 4.75...
