A 67-year-old Orchard man will spend time in jail after being sentenced in a case dating back to 2022. Russell L. Meyer appeared in Antelope County Court, Oct. 15, on one count of failure to appear when on bail - misdemeanor, a Class II misdemeanor. He pleaded guilty to the charge. A 30-year-old Ewing man was arrested Oct. 22, by Norfolk Police officers, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
