Five Bobcats earn post-season honors

Niobrara Valley Conference officials released post-season honors in volleyball last week. Five members of the Summerland squad were recognized.

Adyson Mlnarik and Hadley Cheatum were named to the first team, along with Mya Hedstrom, Lorissa Reiman and Alissa Brabec, St. Mary's; Ashlynne Charf, Skyler Meis and Chloe Henn, Elgin Public/Pope John; Brooke Wilcox, Elkhorn Valley, Sidney Estill and Lacey Paxton, Stuart; and Josilyn Miller, Niobrara/Verdigre.

Hadley Cheatum

Lydia Robertson was named to the second team. She is joined by Hope Williamson, SMH; Maci Nemetz, EmiLee Walnofer and Lainey Smith, West Holt; Adisyn Anderson, North Central, J.J. Black and Lily Hartl, EV; Amelia Hoffman and Paige Drueke, Boyd County; Hailey Horstmann, Neligh-Oakdale and Kate Furstenau, EPPJ.

Preslie Robertson and Ella Bolling received honorable mention, along with Lizzie Gartner, CWC; Merinee Vaughn, EV; Maddie Kolm and Baylee Busteed, EPPJ; Mallory Belitz and Brittany Olson, NO; Harley Stark, Bree Breithaupt and Ashley Parks, NV; Allie Cosgrove and Tatelyn Smith, NC; Joslyn Eby and Emma Otte, SMH; Chiana Tubbs, Addie Ketteler, Sarah Wallinger and Reagan Stracke, Stuart and Addie Karo, WH.
