Bobcat wrestlers finished fourth, Saturday, at the Battle Creek duals invite.

The Braves claimed the top team trophy, while Crofton-Bloomfield finished second and Tekamah-Herman, third.

In the first round of competition, Battle Creek topped T-H, 63-18.

The Bobcats lost to Crofton-Bloomfield, 42-24.

Three Summerland wrestlers earned wins, all by fall. Jesse Theile pinned William Steffen in 1:43. They competed in the 138-pound class.

At 145, Keaton Thiele pinned Jack Miller, in 4:56.

Logan Mueller earned a win in the 285-class, pinning Paxton Bartels in 3:13.

Kendrick Schroeder, competing at 182, won by forfeit.

C-B won matches in eight weight classes.

Robbie Fisher pinned Daley Bearinger, in 1:10. They wrestled in the 110-division.

At 126, Hudson Barger earned a 13-6 decision over Alex Thiele. Connor Thomson, competing in the 132-class, lost, by fall, in 1:43, to Braeden Guenther.

William Poppe earned a win by forfeit at 152. Matt Umphress lost, by fall, in 1:35, to Wyatt Tramp, in the 160-pound class. Casey Jeannoutot defeated AJ Hobbs, by fall, in a 170-pound match.

Colton Thiele dropped a 3-2 decision to Ty Tramp in the 195-pound class, while Jared Janssen pinned Wyatt Chipps in 3:53 in a 220-pound match.

Double forfeits were recorded in the 106- and 113-pound divisions.

In the second round of matches, Summerland fell to BC, 65-9.

Jesse Thiele pinned Logan Lutt in 1:19 and Mueller finished with a 3-2 decision over Elijah Hintz.

BC grapplers earned wins in eight weight categories.

At 120, Jaxon Hassler pinned Bearinger in 2:57; Carter King claimed a 15-3 decision over Alex Thiele at 126; Hudson Last pinned Logan Kester, in 3:51 at 138.

Matt Umphress lost, due to injury, at 2:28, to Brek Thompson. They competed in the 152-pound class. At 170, Korbyn Battershow won, 14-5, over Schroeder. Wyatt Nierodzik pinned AJ Hobbs, in :49, in the 182-pound class.

Colton Thiele lost, 4-3, to Dahkota Zlomke and Wyatt Chipps lost, by fall, in :38, to Kase Thompson.

The Braves earned four wins by forfeit in the 106-, 113-, 145- and 160-pound classes.

In the fourth dual, C-B defeated T-H, 54-30 and in the fifth dual, BC edged out C-B, 38-37.

Summerland lost the final dual, to T-H, 45-30.

Four Bobcats - Bearinger, A. Thiele, J. Thiele and Chipps - earned wins by forfeit.

Austin Breckenridge pinned Kester, in 1:11, in the 138-pound class and Brady Braniff claimed a 4-2 sudden victory win over K. Thiele in the 145-pound division.

At 170, Kendrick Schroeder lost, by fall in 3:18, to Dawson Schram and Cole Booth pinned AJ Hobbs, in 2:28, in the 182-pound division.

T-H earned wins by forfeit in the 106-, 152-,160- and 195-pound classes.
