Village officials set community clean-up dates

Clearwater residents will be able to spruce up properties and dispose of items during the village’s annual clean-up campaign.

Between May 20 and June 3, dumpsters will be located at the park parking lot. The service is for Clearwater residents only.

According to officials, while anything may be thrown in the dumpsters, the village encourages residents to set iron and scrap metal to the side of the dumpster for separate removal.

“This is a good time to remove items from your yard that may be considered nuisance violations and aren’t picked up by Bud’s Sanitary, including pallets, broken cement and bricks, household furniture, et cetera,” village officals said.

The tree dump will continue to be open for disposal of grass clippings, weeds, leaves, trees and branches.

“Furniture, painted or treated wood and animal carcasses are not allowed at the tree dump,” officials said.
