    Summerland went 1-1 in conference volleyball tourney play last week. In the first round, the Bobcats swept Santee, 25-8, 25-3, 25-13.     Last week, the Bobcat volleyball team picked two impressive wins. On Oct. 10, Summerland traveled to Wayne and, after dropping set one, rebounded to win the match. Ady Mlnarik led the way, nailing 16 kills. Lydia Robertson added a baker's dozen. Bailey Ahlers ended with three blocks and Preslie Robertson dug the ball 28 times.     Summerland’s high school cross country runners took part in the Class D-3 district meet, Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Ainsworth Golf Course. Due to impending weather, the meet was held a day early. The first incident, which occurred Sept. 22, ended with a broken ceramic flower pot and an American flag, on a pole, snapped from a bracket on the building.
