The Clearwater Chamber of Commerce will add a second event to its traditional rodeo lineup in 2021. On July 31, bareback, saddle bronc and bull riders from the mid-states region and beyond will vie for added prize money in the first Clearwater Chamber Rough Stock Challenge. Clearwater Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department responded to a call late Sunday evening at 406 Iowa Street. Assistant Fire Chief Mark Allemang said the fire was reported at approximately 11:55 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters found the single-story home of the Jose and Jemima Mendoza family in flames.
