On Friday, June 3, the O'Neill Irish Junior Legion baseball team traveled to Orchard to take on the Tri-County Titan Juniors.

The aggressive O'Neill baseball team defeated the Titans by a score of 3-18.

Landon McAllister was the starting Titan pitcher and started the game strong. After the first inning, the score was tied 1-1.

Connor Thomson scored the first Titan run on a Wyatt Shabram RBI sacrifice groundout.

"But then, errors doomed the Titan defense the next three innings and the game got out of hand," Shabram said.

This, along with hot O'Neill hitting and sound Irish defensive plays, proved to be too much for the Titans to overcome.

Others scoring for Tri-County were Kaiden Bauer in the fourth inning on another Wyatt Shabram sacrifice groundout and then Dane Miller in the fourth inning on a William Drobny sacrifice groundout.

The game ended after the fifth inning.

"Now we are on to the next challenge and will just try to improve each day. The boys are working hard and have a strong desire to succeed," Shabram said. "I am very proud of each and every one of them for playing baseball this summer."
