Trio of Bobcats named to all-conference squad

Summerland seniors Ashley Koenig, Tiana Thramer and Brenna Wagner were named to the Niobrara Valley Conference 2019 volleyball first team.
The announcement was made Nov. 12.
The trio joins Lauryn Hoffman, Boyd County; Ryann Haburchak, Taylor Jean Peter, Tessa Metschke and Morgan Ramsey, CWC; Olivia Nall, Elkhorn Valley; Sydney Linse, North Central; Abby Everitt, St. Mary's and Reaghan Engel, Stuart.
Avery Cheatum and Sidney Stallbaum were second team selections, along with Heather Atkinson and Mariah Smalley, Boyd County; Emma Jonseth, CWC; Haley Zegers, EPPJ; Carney Black and Kenzie Mosel, Elkhorn Valley; Lauryn Stanton, North Central; Amanda Dietz and Trinity Kurpgeweit, Neligh-Oakdale and Lexi Schroder, Stuart.
Kyra Nilson and Summer Schroder received honorable mention. Others on the list include Kalli Kayl, Boyd County; Alexis Butterfield, Michelle Koenig and Rachel Dierks, CWC; Bria Gale and Kaylee Bacon, Elkhorn Valley; Kayce Kallhoff, EPPJ; Paige Furstenau, Neligh-Oakdale; Hannah Sheridan, Santee; Hope Williamson and Jadyn Eby, St. Mary's; Sydney Estill and Taya Schmaderer, Stuart; Brandi Heller, West Holt; Makenna Guenther and Emily Parks, Niobrara-Verdigre and Keeley Munger, North Central.
