Locally-grown beef may soon be what's for dinner at Summerland Public Schools. During the Feb. 12 board of education meeting, FFA Advisor Jacob Goldfuss outlined programs at Sandy Creek and Thayer Central and suggested a similar setup could work here. District 4 Leadership Development Events competition was held at Summerland Public School, Nov. 20. Since she was a young girl, Luci Koinzan has dreamed of the moment she would be named rodeo queen.
