Ewing Village Trustees tackled a light agenda, Monday, March 9. Primary discussion focused on the ball fields at Schmidt Park. Maintenance director Chris Tagel said fencing includes a few sections that need to be fixed. Tagel said, "T posts were holding a lot of it, that's why it looked so bad. It broke loose and all that stuff got blown up against it." New maintenance personnel will soon be on duty in the Village of Ewing. During an Oct. 17 special meeting, trustees voted to hire Chris Tagel to fill the position which has been vacant since August.
