Ewing trustees approve ballpark fixes

Ewing Village Trustees tackled a light agenda, Monday, March 9.

Primary discussion focused on the ball fields at Schmidt Park.

Maintenance director Chris Tagel said fencing includes a few sections that need to be fixed.

Tagel said, "T posts were holding a lot of it, that's why it looked so bad. It broke loose and all that stuff got blown up against it."

Trustee Kent Stallbaum suggested ending the fence near the dugout

"Maybe cut it at the dugout and get rid of the rest of the fence if there's only T-ball played on the field," Stallbaum said.
