The Summerland Golf Course is a 9 hole golf course located in Ewing, Nebraska, managed by head golf pro and clubhouse manager Craig Flenniken. The Golf Club was designed by Martin Johnson, Jr., and opened in 19912. A public golf course is located in between the towns of Ewing, Orchard, and Clearwater. The course has rolling hills with shrubbery on every hole and a new pond on the last hole. The NGA approved, 36 par course, with a 68.8 rating and 112 slope stretches from 2,800 to more than 3,100 yards from the back tees. Three sets of tees allow every skill level to play golf, no matter the expertise you have. Gas, pull, and club carts are available for rental. There is also a Pro Shop at Summerland Golf Club that has a line of apparel and golf accessories.
