The Cornerstone Bank, formally Tilden bank, is located in Clearwater, Nebraska. The Tilden Bank originally opened in 1907 and was called the Citizen's State Bank. The Tilden Bank of Clearwater opened its new constructed location on Feb 4. 2017. The old location was originally being used to house office buildings for local executives traveling through, the building was called The Office. It is now used by the Summerland Advocate-Messenger, as their main office with a Farm Bureau and economic development rep being located in The Office as well. The new location of the Tilden Bank now has more room and a drive-through window. On January 7, 2021 the Cornerstone Bank merged into the Tilden Bank, and took official ownership. Cornerstone Bank has multiple locations around this area including Tilden, Creighton, and Clearwater.
