    I’m enjoying the now view of my flower garden out my kitchen window. If you are wondering what could be worth looking at out there, I’ll try to describe it. Despite being covered with white fluffy snow, I see swags of greenery and pots filled with clippings of evergreens. The red bows still add a pop of color to the scene.     Summerland wrestlers dominated Quad County NE, 56-18, in a Jan. 12 dual, in Randolph. The Bobcats earned wins in 12 weight divisions. In the 106 class, Daley Bearinger won, by fall, in :21, over Asher Beed. Jesse Thiele downed Carter Olson, by fall, in 3:02. They wrestled in the 120 class. His brother, Alex, pinned Dominic Wilcox, in 2:29, to win the 126 division. The third Thiele brother, Eli, claimed a 16-0 technical fall, in 4:56, over Gabe Wortman, in the 126 class.     Two area men were sent to the Nebraska Penal and Correctional Complex at Lincoln last week for crimes committed in Holt County. Kip V. Polston, 42, of Elgin appeared before the Honorable Mark Kozisek in the Holt County district courtroom in O’Neill for sentencing Jan. 11. Kozisek sentenced Polston to two years in a facility under the jurisdiction of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, with credit for six days previously served.     The Summerland Bobcats ran up against a tough opponent, Jan. 14, in O'Neill, where the St. Mary's Cardinals defeated the Bobcats, 68-27. Summerland scoring was tough and Mason Hoke lead the team with nine points. The Bobcats had a rough start, going down, 18-4, early, due to the stifling defense of the Cardinals.
