Transportation, hiring needs top board agenda

Summerland Board of Education members will address transportation and hiring needs when they meet Monday, July 20.

Four action items are included on the agenda for the 7 p.m. meeting, including approval on classified staffing work agreements, action on policy updates, discussion and potential action on transportation needs and consideration of membership in the Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association.

Following opening formalities, a celebration of excellence will feature staff and student presentations or recognition.

Fifteen minutes is planned for public participation.

Administrative reports will be presented by Superintendent Molly Aschoff and principals, Jacob Birch and Cathy Cooper.
