Since 2006, the Nebraska School Activities Association and the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association recognize students who have been nominated by their schools, based on their individual academic excellence, leadership, and significant contributions made to their NSAA activity.

Ten Summerland Public School students were named Winter 2024 Academic All-State recipients, including Carter Bergman and Barrett Stearns, boys' basketball; Adyson Mlnarik and Preslie Robertson, girls' basketball; Alanna Doll and Carlee Livingston, speech; Ethan Kester and Jesse Thiele, boys' wrestling; and Lenora Kester and Raina Krebs, girls' wrestling.

For the winter season, 2,410 high school students from across the state received the prestigious tradition, recognizing the efforts of high school students on and off the field.
