Calling all cooks • Page Community Day Club will sponsor a soup cook-off, Feb. 4, at the new fire hall in Page. Funds raised will assist with costs for July's annual community celebration.
The Page Community Day Club is hosting a soup cook-off on Sunday, Feb. 4 at the new firehall.
All funds raised will go toward events scheduled during Page Community Day, which will be Saturday, July 20.
Contestants are invited to cook a roaster full of their best soup recipe to be entered in the contest. The soup will be the entry fee.
Judging will begin at 4:30 p.m., and doors will be open to the public from 5 to 7 p.m.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three entrants.
Cost for individuals 13 and over wanting all-you-can-eat soups and dessert will be $10, $5 for ages 5 to 12 and those under f...
