Defendants bound over to Holt County district court on felony drug charges

 


Two defendants waived their rights to preliminary hearings when they appeared in the Holt County court July 5 on felony allegations. The Honorable Kale Burdick bound their cases over to Holt County district court, where they are set for arraignment Aug. 8.

Varian P. Jackson, 43, of O’Neill is charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent to deliver, a Class 2 felony alleged Jan. 18, in O’Neill. He was booked into the Holt County Jail on Feb. 7, with bond set at $75,000, 10% cash. It was amended to $35,000, 10%, Feb. 8, and finally amended to $5,000, personal r...
