Holt County defendants fined for infractions

 


Three defendants recently pleaded guilty, by waiver, and were fined for Holt County infractions.

James P. McCabe, 29, of O'Neill admitted leaving Nebraska brand area without inspection. He was fined $1,200 and assessed $49 costs. McCabe was cited June 2, two miles north and one-eighth mile west of O'Neill by a Nebraska Brand Committee investigator, who notated "50 pair cattle shipped to Iowa, ticket for 12 head. Holt County attorney Brent Kelly amended the ticket to six head on June 13.

Darrick E. Nekuda, 44, of Stuart fined $100 and assessed $49 costs for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited June 2 in O'Neill, by an O'Neill officer.

Nathan Schelm, 37, of O'Neill was fined $50 each and assessed $49 costs for a pair of Jan. 27 O'Neill city violations, for failing to restrain or confine a dangerous dog.
