Ewing search warrant results in three arrests

On Friday, April 12, at approximately 7 p.m., the Holt County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Holt County Attorney’s Office, O’Neill Police Department, Atkinson Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol and Antelope County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant in Ewing.

The search warrant was served at a camper located at the northeast corner of Highway 20 and Highway 45B. Substances alleged to be controlled substances and several items believed to be drug paraphernalia were found during the execution of the search warrant.

Torrey Peterson, 30, of Ewing, was arrested for alleged possession of an extremely hazardous drug; possession of methamphetamine more than 140g; possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance – cocaine; possession of a controlled Substance – a Schedule IV drug, possession of marijuana less than an ounce; possession of drug paraphernalia.

Peterson was transported to O’Neill and incarcerated at the Holt County Jail. Charges are currently pending.

The Holt County Sheriff’s Office had observed a vehicle leave the camper prior to the execution of the search warrant. The vehicle was driven to the White Star Mini Mart. The driver of the vehicle walked into the White Star Mini Mart and entered the restroom.

Deputies contacted the driver, identified as Donovan Colfack, 24, of Stuart, as he exited the restroom. An employee informed the deputies the toilet was plugged. The restroom was secured and Deputies obtained equipment that retrieved a baggie from the toilet. The baggie contained a substance believed to be Methamphetamine. Colfack was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

Colfack was transported to O’Neill and incarcerated at the Holt County Jail. Charges are currently pending.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., a search warrant was served at a residence with an attached shop located at the northeast corner of Highway 20 and Highway 45B. Substances alleged to be controlled substances and several items believed to be drug paraphernalia were found during the execution of the search warrant.

Drew Steskal, 34, of Ewing, was arrested for alleged possession of methamphetamine; possession of marijuana 1 oz or less; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Steskal was transported to O’Neill and incarcerated at the HoIt County Jail. Charges are currently pending.
