A memorial Service for Lenice Savidge was held Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021 at St. John’s Catholic Church at rural Ewing. Father James Kramper officiated. Burial was in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery.

Lenice May (Jaeke) Savidge, 93, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021 at Arbor Care Centers-Valhaven in Valley, Nebraska.

Lenice was born May 31, 1928, to Arthur and Inez Jaeke of Clearwater. She graduated from Clearwater High School in 1946. After attending trade school, she married Harold Phillip Savidge on Feb.11, 1948. Lenice enjoyed her family, fishing, traveling and she was an avid reader.

Lenice is survived by two children, daughter, Sharry Savidge Kester and son, Phillip A. Savidge; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; oldest daughter, Cindy K. Sanderson, as well as her three siblings, brother, Wayne and sisters, Verla and Norma.
