Ag Society announces changes to 2020 Antelope County Fair

The 2020 Antelope County Fair will feature a few changes from original plans.

On Wednesday, during a special meeting, Antelope County Ag Society directors unanimously voted to postpone the Michael Ray concert, scheduled for Aug. 1.

"Negotiations are underway for Michael Ray to perform at the 2021 Antelope County Fair. Any tickets sold for the concert will be refunded," the society said in a statement released to the media.

Another change will be noticed in the fairground's exhibit hall. The board also determined static exhibits, including open class and school art, will not be accepted.

According to the board's statement, "All open class animal exhibits will follow the direction of 4-H animal exhibits."

"We will be working in the next weeks to follow the directed health measures given to bring you the best County Fair we can during this time of uncertainty with COVID-19," board members said..

Additional details concerning the fair will be released soon.
