    After nearly 19 years serving as Holt County planning and zoning administrator, Mike Durre will step down. Holt County Supervisors approved his resignation, effecctive Jan. 1, during the supervisor's Nov. 30 meeting. Durre started with the planning and zoning commission on Feb. 16, 2004.   • Phone cooperative pays out nearly $5 million to customers

On Dec. 1, capital credit checks were mailed to 4,492 current customers and 3,930 former customers, totaling nearly $5 million. Northeast Nebraska Telephone Company is one of seven telephone cooperatives in Nebraska.
