After a day of competition at the District 4 Livestock Judging Evaluation, the Summerland FFA senior and junior teams will advance to state in March. Locally-grown beef may soon be what's for dinner at Summerland Public Schools. Corn in the Summerland FFA test plot was sky high by the Fourth of July. Some of the rows shot toward the sun, towering over other varieties.
