Clearwater's Planning Commission will meet March 4 to make a recommendation about a building permit application for a local daycare. Following discussion at the Feb. 12 village meeting, trustees made the decision to send the permit application to the commission. Village of Clearwater officials spent part of the Oct. 9 meeting discussing the state of River Road and Nebraska Street. Violating a building permit requirement will result in a stiffer penalty in the village of Clearwater. During the trustee's Jan. 10 meeting, officials approved increasing the current $10 fine to $100, if construction starts prior to filing for a permit.
