A Bennett, Nebraska woman, originally arrested in 2023 for one count of issuing a bad check - $0-500, a Class II misdemeanor, made an appearance in Antelope County Court, Jan. 7. Donni Nachtman, 61, appeared for arraignment and entered a no contest plea . Antelope County Judge Donna Taylor found Nachtman guilty and ordered to pay a $100 fine, restitution of $65 to Royal One Stop, along with court costs and fees, totaling $51. Taylor ordered $20 paid on Jan. 7, and suspended $151 until Feb. 4....
On Thursday, Summerland hosted Lutheran High Northeast, and fell to the Eagles, 70-42. On Friday, they traveled to West Holt and secure a 43-33 Bobcat win. Beau Ahlers finished the game with eight points and six rebounds. Ryan Rifer led Summerland with 16 points. The Bobcats hosted Creighton on Jan. 13. SAM went to press before the games started.
