Titans can't contain Albion

Tri-County Seniors couldn't keep up with the Albion Cornerstone Legion Post #162 Senior and fell 10-2 on June 30 at Albion.

Albion got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Jack Molt singled to the left side of the infield, Jacob Miller singled down the left field line, Chance Trollope walked, Rylan Hoadley walked, and an Albion player scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.

Albion added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Kaden Miller doubled to center field, Carter Molt singled to the left side of the infield, Carter Lueken singled to the left side of the infield, and Vincent Malander singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Albion added one run in the third. Kaden Miller singled down the left field line, making the score 10-2.

Carter Lueken earned the win for Albion. The hurler surrendered four hits and two runs (one earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one.

Daniel Kluver Jr pitched three innings in relief for the Tri-County Titan Seniors. The righty allowed seven hits and five runs while, striking out one and walking none.

Jason Shaver took the loss for Tri-County. The pitcher went one inning, allowing five runs on three hits, striking out one and walking two.

Cash Wickersham led Tri-County with one run batted in. The third baseman went 1-for-3 on the day. A.J. Hobbs went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Tri-County in hits.

The Titans didn't commit a single error in the field. Hobbs had the most chances in the field with five.

Albion collected 10 hits in the game. Kaden Miller set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading with three hits in three at bats. Carter Molt, Jack Molt, Kaden Miller, Jacob Miller, Lueken, and Malander each drove in one run.

Jack Molt, Kaden Miller, Jacob Miller, Lueken, and Trollope each stole multiple bases for Albion.

The Cornerstone crew ran wild on the base paths, accumulating 15 stolen bases for the game. Albion Seniors were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Trollope made the most plays with six.
