Plea agreement reached in Clearwater DUI case

A plea agreement was reached in an alcohol-related case involving a Clearwater man. Details of the plea agreement were disclosed during the June 11 session of Antelope County Court. The Honorable Kale Burdick presided.

Per the agreement, Martin Siems, 52, withdrew a previously-entered not guilty plea and pleaded guilty to one county of DUI-alcohol-1st offense, a Class W misdemeanor. Antelope County Attorney Joe Smith recommended probation as part of the agreement.

Burdick sentenced Siems to six months probation. The defendant will be responsible for probation and drug testing fees.
