Sentencing continued for Beatrice man

Thomas A. Warnke, 22, of Beatrice appeared for sentencing before the Honorable Michael L. Long in Antelope County District Court on April 29.

Antelope County Attorney Joe Smith informed Long that Dustin Garrison, defense counsel, is currently on administrative suspension.

Long informed Warnke of the right to court-appointed counsel. Warnke said he will wait for Garrison to represent him.

Long continued sentencing to May 26, and advised Warnke that sentencing "will most likely occur whether Mr. Garrison is present or not."

A $50,000-10% bond remains is continued.
