Multiple arraignments heard in Antelope County District Court

Five individuals appeared for arraignment on April 29 in Antelope County District Court in Neligh. The Honorable Michael L. Long presided.

Michael S. Boughton, 35, of Krum, Texas, appeared for arraignment on a charge of operating a motor vehicle/avoid arrest-fl, a Class IV felony.

Long found that Boughton had not been served a copy of the complaint at least 24 hours prior to arraignment. Boughton waived service. He pleaded not guilty.

Long set a pretrial hearing for July 29, and a jury trial for Sept. 21. One exception was made on bond conditions. Long said the defendant may leave the state of...
