Continuances granted in several Antelope County District Court cases

A continuance was granted in Antelope County District Court for a 64-year-old woman charged with possession of a controlled substance, a Class IV felony.

Denise A. Blevins, of Norfolk, was unable to attend the April 29 court session due to illness. Her attorney, Martin Klein of Neligh, requested a continuance.

Antelope County Attorney Joe Smith did not object, and the Honorable Michael L. Long granted the motion.

He ordered Blevins to appear May 27 for a pretrial hearing. A jury trial in the case remains scheduled for July 20.
