The Bobcat golf team competed at the Plainview Country Club on Saturday. Bennet Flenniken finished 15th, shooting 86.
Dylan Gray shot a 93; Jacob Pierzina carded a 95; Ian Rittscher, 96; and Cohen Schindler, 99.
Summerland finished sixth as a team.
Coach Tom Thramer said, "I thought our young team did really well Saturday for the conditions they had to play in. We golfed three freshmen on Saturday and they all handled themselves well. There are still some things to work on but I think this group will continue to get better as the year progresses."...
