Lady Bobcats season ends at subdistricts

Summerland traveled to Tilden, Monday, for the opening round of girls subdistrict basketball.

The Bobcats could not get the offense in gear, while Ponca hit double digits in three of four quarters, leading to a 48-29 Ponca win.

Summerland didn’t make a single three-point shot despite putting it up 11 times. From two-point range, the Bobcats hit seven of 30 attempts.

On the bright side, they connected on 15 of 19 free throw, shotting 79%.

Kanyon Allemang finished the night with 15 points. Jenna Funk added half a dozen, Caydence Schumacher pitched in 5.
