On Wednesday, Feb. 4, the District Proficiency Review was held, and three Summerland FFA members competed in four different areas.
"They did extremely well, and all of their applications were chosen to move on to the first round of proficiency review in a couple of weeks," said FFA Advisor Jacob Goldlfuss.
Bennet Flenniken competed in two contests: sales and service and residential construction. He was named district champion in both categories.
Braelyn Bergman received district champion honors in grain production entrepreneurship.
