All eight Summerland FCCLA members who competed at Monday's District STAR event in Wayne will advance to the state competition in March.
Lilly Spangler and Averie Pelster earned a silver and were named champion in sports nutrition, level one.
In sports nutrition, level two, Hayden Hobbs and Ethan Barner were named champions, earning gold.
Jenna Funk and Braelyn Bergman submitted the chapter service project portfolio, earned gold, and topped the field.
Emma King led the way in personal finance. She was the district champ and received gold.
