The Sunset Store in Ewing donated $10,039.73 in monetary donations to projects in the area in 2025. The thrift store is located in the former Ewing School building.
The Sunset Store, located in the former Ewing Public School, donated $10,039.73 in monetary donations to area community members in 2025.
The board announced the annual give back amounts when they met in January.
In addition to monetary donations, the Ewing-based thrift sop packed and shipped 317 boxes to the Orphan Grain Train based in Norfolk.
In-kind donations were also made to the Norfolk Veterans Home, Holt County Animal Shelter, Norfolk Rescue Mission, Schools, Shoe Box Gifts for children, and jeans for quilts....
