Candidates begin filing for Nebraska Primary Election

The candidate filing period for May's primary election is underway. Antelope County Clerk Lisa Payne said nine individuals have currently filed for the primary election, and two have tossed their hats in the ring for non-partisan offices, which will be voted on in the General Election.

County Assessor Kelly Mueller Oltjenbruns, treasurer Deb Branstiter and clerk of the district court, Angela F. Mortensen have filed paperwork.
